Hale Orb – The Ultimate Wireless Picture Viewing and Sharing Device

What could be a better way to recollect memories other than viewing and sharing photographs? While social media has greatly simplified the act of sharing images and videos with friends and family, there are still many people who are unable to access those media files. This may be because someone is not too fond of social media or maybe in the case of elderly people, they might just not be very comfortable using it yet. Created by DouZen Inc, Hale Orb is just the perfect solution in such cases.

Don’t go on its size. This spherical shaped, tennis ball sized smart device could do a lot more magic than you would expect it to do. This device allows people to scroll through unlimited videos or images on a television screen.

How it Works?

To begin with, you just need to attach a Hale Stick (that comes along with the Hale Orb device) to the HDMI port of your TV. Hare Orb will be installed automatically and will use a local Wi-Fi network for streaming images or videos on your TV.

Android and iOS users can easily download Hale Orb’s smartphone app and directly upload videos and photos onto the device. Automatic sync from storage sites such as Dropbox, Instagram, Facebook, and Google Drive are also possible. Not just this but you could also use your email accounts to add photos to the device.

The best part is that you don’t need to be tech-savvy to be able to use Hale Orb. In a talk, the founder of the Association of Personal Photo Organizers (APPO) described how the device has made things a lot easier for photo organizers as well as their clients worldwide.

It is also possible to get notifications whenever someone uploads or views your images/ videos. These notifications could be of 2 different types, light as well as sound, depending on the users choice.

Components of Hale Orb

Orb: This is the main spherical hardware device of the set. It is basically a remote control that could be used to view images or videos on the TV screen. To turn on the device as well as your TV, you just have to tap on the Push button. It also has a scrolling wheel, which makes movements easier.

Hale Stick

As described earlier, this is something you connect to the HDMI port of your TV to make it work like a computer.

Hale Central

This is a great cloud service that you could use to store an unlimited number of images. You could store a lot of videos as well but if you need more storage space than what is already being provided, you can easily get it by paying a very low price.

The Hale Orb App

The free-to-use app is available for both Android and iOS platforms. It makes it absolutely fun for users to directly upload media files from their phones or tablets.

Although there are many media devices coming out in the market these days, there are only a few which are actually worth the money. Hale Orb is definitely one of them. I would definitely recommend it. It’s pure magical stuff.
