Deepart.io Duplicate Photos Problem

When it comes to adding artistic effects to photos, Deepart.io is a tool that definitely stands out. Deepart’s intelligent algorithm uses the stylistic elements of one image to redraw the content of another image.

The whole process is inspired by the human brain and leaves you mind-boggled. With just three simple steps, Deepart allows users to turn any photo into an artwork – all this for free!

Whether you want to add Van Gogh’s starry night’s effects to your picture or Picasso’s Three Musicians’, Deepart.io is a perfect solution. All you have to do is upload the images to their easy-to-use web interface.

Although Deepart.io is an easy-to-use tool, there is one problem that arises while using it: duplicate photos. While users play around with different templates and artworks, they often save several duplicate files into their computers. Over time, these duplicate files pile up, occupy a significant portion of your storage space, and then eventually make your computer pretty slow. To avoid this from happening, it is recommended to regularly delete all such duplicate photos lying across different folders within your computer.

I know, the idea of searching for duplicate photos from folder to folder sounds daunting, but it definitely doesn’t need to be! Why waste several hours doing a task manually that can be easily done within a few minutes using PictureEcho?

PictureEcho is a smart duplicate photo detector. Whether you have 10 duplicates or 10,000, this tool will detect them all.

How to Use PictureEcho?

  1. First, head to PictureEcho’s official website and download the software from there.
  2. Once launched, click on Add Path to load all files or folders that you wish to scan for unnecessary dupes.
  3. You have to scan options: Exact Match or Similar Match. If you decide to opt for the Similar Match option, you can also decide on a similarity level. You will further have a few options to choose from:
  • Scan photos taken within a timespan of 30 seconds. This setting will find a considerable number of duplicates.
  • Scan photos taken within a timespan of 1 minute. This setting will find many duplicates.
  • Scan photos taken within a timespan of 60 minutes. This setting will find the most duplicates.
  • This setting doesn’t take ‘Time’ into account. You may have to analyze the results carefully.
  1. You can also include or exclude certain file types by going to the Included Extensions tab. The current supported file types include jpg, jpe, jpeg, jfif, png, tif, tiff, gif, dib, bmf, and ico.
  2. Once you have made all the settings, hit the Start Search button and wait for a few seconds. Soon, you will see a preview of all the detected duplicates, grouped together.
  3. Now, select the dupes that you wish to get rid of. You can automatically select them from each duplicate group on the basis of various filters such as file size, resolution, creation date, or file location
  1. Finally, click on the Selection Action button to either permanently delete the selected files or move them to a different folder for now.

Do you see how easy that was? If you are someone who edits photos on a regular basis, PictureEcho is your new go-to tool. Not just Deepart.io but you can use it to work with Adobe Lightroom. Apart from finding duplicates, its photo organizing features are also quite handy.
