1) Sort Files in an Alphabetical Order
By default, all files in the Amazon Drive have been sorted according to the date of their creation. While using your Amazon Drive, you can easily sort files in alphabetical order simply by clicking the Name tab, which is present at the top of the list. Once this is done, it becomes pretty simple to identify files that have the same name. Usually, what happens is that if a copy of a file is created, it ends with a number in a bracket for example (1) or (2).
Once you identify such files, you can easily delete them and save lots of space. After deletion, if you want to recover a file, you could do so for up to 30 days.
2) Use Clone Files Checker
The above-mentioned method is simple but it could get very tiring if you have a lot of duplicates. To overcome this issue, Sorcim Technologies has developed a mind-boggling duplicate finding tool called Clone File Checker. It is compatible with Mac OS 10.10 and above. The program is quite user-friendly and simple to use.
