This mode renames files in your <\/span>Google Drive<\/b> on the cloud. No need to wait for all the data to be synced to your computer. Just sign in to your <\/span>Google<\/b> account, authorize <\/span>Easy File Renamer<\/b> to access your data\u2019s hash and the rest is pretty straightforward.<\/span><\/p>\n

Select the <\/span>Cloud Renamer<\/b> tab to be able to launch the process for renaming your Google Drive files.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next window will show up the file hierarchy of your Google Drive folders. Select the folder(s) which contain files you want to rename and click the <\/span>Add Folder<\/b> button to load the data in Easy File Renamer user interface.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the data has been loaded, you can happily select a renaming rule of your choice from the <\/span>Select Rule<\/b> dropdown menu on the left. There a total of 10 rules available, some of the more favorite ones being <\/span>New Name<\/b>, <\/span>Remove Text<\/b>, <\/span>Replace Text<\/b>, <\/span>Trim Text<\/b>, and so on. Select all the relevant options such as entering the text and you might be required to select a radio box in some cases as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next, click <\/span>Add Rule<\/b> to give your confirmation of the rule(s) being applied with the current customization. The <\/span>Item New Name<\/b> tab in the interface will give you a sneak peek into how the files will look after being renamed. When you\u2019re confident of all the settings being absolutely fine, click the <\/span>Rename<\/b> button in the lower-right corner of the screen and select <\/span>Yes<\/b> in the confirmation prompt.<\/span><\/p>\n
