I can either click <\/span><b>Save<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and overwrite the original picture or click <\/span><b>Save As<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and save a new copy of the picture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most users select the latter option and they end up creating a duplicate picture of the image in the same folder.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s how photo catalog software create duplicates of the same picture. This will simply prevent the software from creating an additional copy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, overwriting original copy is not always advisable, especially if you\u2019re someone who is a graphics designer or a professional photographer.
